Top 10 Books i’ve Read So Far In 2015

The Way We Bared Our SoulsA Time to Dance

The Way We Bared Our Souls by Willa Strayhorn
I was so excited to get my hands on this and honestly it was such a beautiful book with such a unique concept.

A Time to Dance by Padma Venkatraman
This was written in verse and was one of the most beautifully composed books I’ve ever read.  This was an inspiring story, and I’m so grateful I picked it up off the shelf to read.  (I now own both the hardcover and paperback editions…oops!)

Croak (Croak, #1)Yours Truly

Croak by Gina Damico
This whole series was so funny and flawless – you guys know that I pretty much beg anyone who asks for a recommendation to read this trilogy.

Yours Truly by Annabel Pitcher
I was skeptical at points during this book of how I’d feel about it, but the ending easily made up for any doubts I had earlier in the book.

The Selection (The Selection, #1)If You Find This Letter: My Journey to Find Purpose Through Hundreds of Letters to Strangers

The Selection by Kiera Cass
When I say The Selection, I mean The Selection.  The book, not the series.  The other two in the main, original trilogy were good, but not nearly as good as the first book.

If You Find This Letter by Hannah Brencher
This book is the reason I love memoirs – they’re realistic, inspiring and make you feel as though you can accomplish anything.  She’s also my idol, so I may be a bit biased.

The Start of Me and YouEleanor and Park

The Start of Me and You by Emery Lord
Ugh, this was just too cute.  How could I not fall in love with the cover alone, and then you open it and just fall in love with the story…and Max Watson.  ;D

Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell
I know, I missed the original Eleanor & Park train, but I finally caught up and oh my goodness, this book is so wonderful.

The Heir (The Selection, #4)Rebel Belle (Rebel Belle, #1)

The Heir by Kiera Cass
And then came The Heir, and suddenly the next generation of royals wasn’t so bad. I know there were a lot of mixed reviews on this surprise 4th book of The Selection series, but ahh.  Read it – deal with Eadlyn and read it.

Rebel Belle by Rachel Hawkins
Welp, this cover doesn’t tell you diddly-squat about what you’re about to read.  And if you don’t read the back cover, like me, you’ll be shocked.  It’s freaking flawless though.  Definitely different – but really freaking good.

Those would be my top 10 books I’ve read so far this year!  All of them earned an easy 5 stars from me, except for The Selection, The Heir and Rebel Belle which all earned 4.5 – close enough right?

What are your top 10 reads?  I want to know!!

Top Ten Tuesday is a book blog meme hosted by The Broke and the Bookish.  Be sure to check out their blog to learn how you can participate (and see all their awesome reviews and good stuff too!)
