My Review
First of all, the title didn’t give any sort of hint towards what kind of mythological, supernatural battle super novel I was about to crack open.  This book was enticing.  I couldn’t put it down.  The descriptions were so detailed and well laid out that it was like watching a movie play in my head – and honestly, those are the best kinds of books, aren’t they?

Skyy is a kick-ass character.  There is literally no other way to describe how amazing she is and the kind of power she brings to this read.  Sean is a fantastic asset to build her character development, Dorian is a great leading male, and Lillith was a great balance to keep everyone grounded and not too far-fetched.

There were a few moments that seemed to come out of no where – emotions that seemed to just pop out of thin air.  But as I continued to read, I realized that Sheldon was thorough and brought all of these issues back up eventually and explained how they came to be.

I adored Sheldon’s writing style.  I thought it flowed fantastically and kept me reading.  I love the ending as well, and am excited for the next installment of Skyy’s adventure!

Recommended?
Yes, definitely.  A quick and fast-paced read that will make you want more!

Hear the Crickets is expected to be released on January 7, 2016.
