I’m sure some of you have heard of Half Blood Prints – a company designed to bring you beautiful, fandom art prints. They recently opened a subscription box called Half Blood Prints Monthly, which delivers one of a kind, themed pieces to your door every month!
Each box includes one 8×10 print on heavy card stock, one 4×5 calendar magnet for the upcoming month, one full color bookmark, and one 3×3 custom sticker or other surprise for only $8 per month (plus shipping)!
This month’s theme was Harry Potter and in memory of Alan Rickman, the print featured the one and only, Severus Snape. The print is fantastic quality, really heavy duty and features his signature line in the books, leading up to his famous “Always”. This print is one to keep and I’m so grateful I was able to grab this box!
The magnet featured a quote by Mr. Rubeus Hagrid, reading:
“What’s comin’ will come, an’ we’ll meet it when it does.”
I adore the idea behind the magnet and think it would make a gorgeous addition to any office space/refrigerator. My only thought is that I want to keep them up forever…what do I do after collecting these for over a year?!
Honestly, I’ll probably slice off the calendar part and keep the upper quote portion as a separate magnet. It’s lovely regardless!
The bookmark was a Marauders Map theme and was double sided with the back featuring footprints and the front featuring the welcome message from Moony, Wormtail, Padfoot and Prongs. A girl can never have too many bookmarks!
And the sticker featured the silhouette of Hogwarts castle and a famous quote from Sirius Black “Until the Very End.” I almost don’t want to stick it to anything because it’s so pretty! I may stick magnets to the back of it and use it as another magnet so I can keep it forever.
This box was totally worth $8, I’m just so sad I don’t have places to display all my beautiful pieces from it! I can’t wait until next month to add to my collection, but dread having to keep them in my closet until I move into my own place to hang them all up.
If you’re interested in receiving a Half Blood Prints Monthly subscription, head over to their site to sign up! Totally worth it!
