Once Upon a Bookcase – April 2016

Once Upon A Bookcase simply outdid themselves with this month’s gorgeous phone case sub box, featuring one of my all-time favorite fairy tales, Beauty and the Beast.

This month’s Girly Girl and Anything&Everything box were the same, and the hint was the story had to do with a rose.  My first guess was Beauty and the Beast and I am SO thrilled I guessed correctly!

The phone case for this month featured the beautiful cover for Beauty and the Beast and a fantastic quote on the back which read:
There are many that deserve that name more than you, and I prefer you, just as you are, to those, who, under a human form, hide a treacherous, corrupt, and ungrateful heart.”

I loved the muted purples and pinks used in this case and it’s absolutely up there among my favorites from this sub box!

The bonus items were just as fantastic as always as well.

The first, was a handmade rose, never to wilt or have the petals fall!  I wove it among some other fake plants I had on my shelves and it fits in beautifully.

The next item was a stunning blue and gold statement necklace – perfect for dressing up or dressing down!

The custom made Belle inspired hair bow was also adorable – not too big, not too small.  I absolutely loved that piece and have already worn it twice!!

Finally the quote on this month’s art print was:
“There is many a monster who wears a form of a man; it is better of the two to have the heart of a man and the form of a monster.”

So many stunning pieces in this month’s box and I cannot wait to show off my phone case to everyone!

The Girly Girl case next month is a BRAND NEW design, and the hint involves cooking!  The Manly Man and Anything&Everything will be the same next month and the hint for those boxes is that the book involves pirates in the story!  For more hints and featured photos, check out their Instagram page!
