The Bookish Box – May 2016

The May Bookish Box was the company’s one year anniversary and in celebration, they decided to dedicate their one year box to one of the biggest fandoms – Harry Potter.

The Bookish Box has been a part of my subscription box life for almost a year now (I subscribed their second box), and I have loved my experience with them.  This month was no exception.

Cherry Pit Crafts included a Butterbeer Bath Salt Scrub which smells absolutely incredible.  The only issue was it was stored inside the coffee tumbler and made that smell like butterbeer. Good or bad, you decide.  ;D

Also included was the Hogwarts Coffee Tumbler by Knot Knirvana – I’ve never actually HAD a tumbler before but I’m so thrilled that this is my very first!  I’ve gotten so many compliments on it and once it was washed and soaked in hot soapy water a few times, the smell of butterbeer bath salts went away.

An absolutely stunning art print by Lexy Olivia was included as well, featuring Expecto Patronum and Harry’s Patronus as well.  These are handpainted pieces and I’m so thrilled I received one of them.

Rich Love Shoppe also included their work, this month being a Harry Potter bubble pendant.  This is one of the best pieces of jewelry this box has contained to date and I’m so glad that this was selected.

The shirt this month, by Appraising Pages, featured a quote from Albus Dumbledore, reading “Words are our most inexhaustible form of magic.”  I absolutely love it (I ordered the hi-low tee variation) and the color and quality, as always, is just amazing.

The Bookish Box has been an amazing part of my life for the last year and I look forward to it every single month.  I’m so excited for what the next few months brings with this box and am glad I will be there to experience it!
