Once Upon a Bookclub – November 2016

Once Upon a Bookclub Box for the month of November featured a beautiful contemporary read and some stunning gifts!

Keeping up with the trend of the last few reviews I’ve done for Once Upon a Bookclub, I’m not going to reveal any of the gifts here but I will reveal my thoughts on them!

The book this month was All the Good Parts by Loretta Nyhan and was a wonderful contemporary read (something different compared to the last few months of Historical Fiction).  I’m really happy that a different genre was included and hopeful this is a trend that will continue!

There were 5 gifts included this month (the same number as the last few months) and I was pleased with each!

The gift for page 72 was a bit lower in value than I would have liked, while the gifts for page 292, 101 and 322 were phenomenal quality and fit perfectly with the box.  The gift for page 214 was something that would NEVER have worked with any other book but was perfectly designed for this book and helped to keep the story moving!

Overall, 4 of the gifts this month were practical things I can use on a daily basis while only 1 was story focused and there to simply make the story feel a bit more real.

Another awesome feature was that Loretta Nyhan was happy and willing to participate in a meet-and-greet on the Bookclub’s Instagram page where she was able and willing to answer questions about her story!  These little bonuses are always a wonderful added experience to any box and I’m glad to have been apart of it!

I’ve been so pleased with this box, I’m eager to see what next month’s will contain!
