Once Upon a Book Case – February 2017

As a recently hired employee of Once Upon a Bookcase, this is an overview of the items included as well as information on the subscription.  This is not an official review.

Once Upon a Bookcase is a monthly subscription box that sends its subscribers a new, bookish phone case each month as well as 1-3 bookish goodies that correlate with the story.

This month, we selected Jane Eyre, a classic novel we have yet to feature!  The phone case is light pink with the silhouette of a woman on the cover as well as Jane Eyre written in script.  This protective case opens up to reveal three credit card slots as well as a money slot.  Your phone is secured in a custom fit, rubber sleeve inside the case for ultimate protection and easy access to all ports.  We currently make cases for over 20 different styles/generations of phones so we recommend checking it out to see if we make yours!

Our 5×7 art print this month featured the same silhouette from the bookcase, along with the words “I would always rather be happy than dignified.”  This beautiful, light pink piece of artwork is perfect framed or to use as a large bookmark.

We also included a few fiercely feminine goodies to pair with the case, including a set of fur cuffs.  These dress up any plain long sleeve tee, or are wonderfully warm under your winter coat.  We shipped these randomly in three different colors, grey, red and cream.

We also included a tea, coffee or cake stencil that mimics the look of our book cover.  Sprinkling powdered sugar or cinnamon through it will give your dessert a classic bookish feel!

Finally we also included a beautiful cameo pendant on a long burnished gold tone chain.  This piece was one of my favorites we’ve selected for Once Upon a Bookcase, as it mimics the era of the story and is a beautiful piece to wear.

Overall, this box was a beautiful take on a feminist classic.  Boxes are $26.00 per month plus shipping so be sure to head over to our website now to grab one!
