The November Uppercase Box featured a book I’ve been eagerly anticipating all year long!
I am proud to reveal my review of the three new releases from J.K. Rowling, Short Stories from Hogwarts. I’ve broken down my reviews per book and be warned:
THERE ARE SPOILERS AHEAD.
Though these books are not stories and are actually the history of the characters/places/objects from the series we’ve all come to know and love, I don’t want anyone upset that I ruined these three new releases for them. That said – brace yourself!
As an avid Disney Pin trader, I absolutely had to try this new subscription box by The Sorcerer’s Phone, titled Nerdy Thoughts, Every Fandom Pins (as in Bertie Botts, Every Flavor Beans – how cute is that?!). I am so eager to check out this new Disney/Fandom crossover box and share it with all of you!
When 9/11 happened, I was six years old. I was in my third week as a second grader and that is about all I remember regarding my life at that time. I remember I got to leave school early. I remember my mom wouldn’t let me turn on the TV. I remember everyone whispering around me and my younger brother.
But I don’t remember IT. It being the thing everyone was trying to keep hidden from us. We weren’t allowed to know and the adults in our lives tried to preserve our innocence a little longer before they told us a few times, trying to keep us from fearing everything but still trying to get us to understand just how serious this was.
